Blue Maxi Dress

The pictures do not do this dress justice. The fit for me was like a glove, the boning in the bodice meant no need for tape or bra, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. The dress has little give though, no stretch or anything. I’m 5’3” and this dress was excellent with 4” heels, but was still long at the back. I got a lot of compliments and felt fantastic in this one.

Beautiful formal dress. It does have a little bit of give so size 8 was ok for me despite 96cm hips. My only small complaint is the plastic inserts that sit inside the dress vertically across the bust. If you have a small bust they dig into your skin below the bust which I did find uncomfortable and I was adjusting throughout the night. If you have a normal to large bust you’d probably be ok.

I rented this dress and took away with me for a weekend away. The pattern is like an optical illusion and with the lightweight fabric skims over lumps. Perfect for a weekend away, casual lunch or dinner. Large bust and tummy friendly! I did find the sleeves fell down but I just tucked some of the fabric under my bra strap. I would consider a strapless bra if I wore again. I will definitely borrow this dress again!

Based on previous reviews I took a size smaller, and it was a perfect fit. Comfortable and very flattering. A nice weight to it and a double lining which made me feel covered appropriately.

This jacket is very oversized, gives that boyfriend bomber jacket type look. Not what I was going for when I hired this piece.
